I really like the idea of using short term memory to remember a path and follow it. It reminds me a lot of a mario galaxy level, where there's a flash of light that illuminates the completely dark level level and then for a few seconds its dark before another flash. The difference to this being that you can still move while its dark. I think the waiting when the thunder happens breaks the game feel. Its also a bit sad that you can only see a very small part of the level when the thunder strikes, and there's not a lot of obstacles so you basically just go forward. I think it would be better to have a bigger part of the level illuminated and actually have a maze, and also being able to move all the time. So the player will go blind for a few seconds, then lightning strucks and you can see the level for a seconds and have to remember it. If you want to keep the pathdrawing, maybe lightning could struck while the mouse is moving, just before the end of the path? So that theres no waiting time and a better flow.
I think there was a bug that prevented the lightning from happening sometimes. Also I got the tutorial-screen when I started the game the second time.
I like the artstyle of the menu, but then the game itself is completely different, it doesn't really fit together.

I really like the cute artstyle and the premise, but I basically rage quit at level 3. The first two are very easy and then the third is too hard. The difficulty rises too fast. And I can't really explain why, but the movement doesn't feel satisfying and like a skateboard. It feels more like sliding than rolling I think?
It reminds me of the "worlds hardest game", so if you wanted to make it really difficult, than you succeeded :D

Fun little game! Reminds me of doodle jump.
I died many times and only got to 107m as a highscore. I'm not entirely sure whats the problem, but I think its a combination of the camera being too high, the character jumping too high and falling too fast. I can barely see where I'm headed, but I have to be fast cause otherwise I just fall down again. With the current settings it feels like I do better if the random level fits my movement, but it should be based on skill, right? I like the idea of only being able to go left or right, but I feel like the level doesn't really fit that. I think it would help a lot if there were no walls on the left and right, and instead a loop so if you go to the left offscreen you would appear on the right again.
I love the artstyle and music though!

Thank you for your feedback! When we started the game we took into account the problems you have listed, but after the play test we decided to develope the game the way it is right now. Nevertheless we are thankful for your review and we will consider it in further improvement. We will also test your suggestion about the camera being too high!

Cute little game!

I got stuck at level 15 for a bit, but eventually cleared it. I think there was a bug when placing the blocks, but restarting helped. I was a bit confused at first cause there is no tutorial, but I quickly understood. I love the blocky cats and the cute sounds, and escpecially that the same form of cat always has the same color, so its coherent. Overall the game is pretty solid and well executed, i couldn't find any major bugs. I sometimes had trouble with the rotating and had to click multiple times for it to rotate. I like that you rotate the platforms and not the cats, I think its pretty unique. I made it to level 31, how many levels are there? Its so many!

Thank you for the thorough feedback and reporting the bug, really helpful!
Right now we are at 1000 levels :)

I love the new bioms!

I played on pc cause sadly it wouldnt start on my phone (firefox-browser). The movement feels good and I like that theres different options for controls. I first played with the mouse and then with the keyboard. Splitting seems to work a lot better now, I wasnt able to break it. It just sad that the splitting is required so rarely.
In the ice-biom theres some flickering in the background, I guess theres a gap between the sprites. And in the swamp-biom theres a gap on the left side and sometimes a gap in the background.
The skin-menu is really small and you have to scroll to see all the skins, even though there would be enough space on the screen to see them all. Also I think it would be helpful to see the amount of crystal shrooms you have while youre in the skin-menu.
Everytime I play and get to the ice-biom, I get the popup again with the explanation. I think it should only appear the first time you enter the new area. Also I think the icicles could fall a bit earlier. I always tried to make them fall without getting to close, so that I dont have to rush through. Like in mario, when you stand close to them but not directly under them, you make them fall and then get safely through. Or you run past them, before they fall.

Oh and maybe you could put the splitting on the right mouse-button so that you can play it just with the mouse ^^

Thanks for feedback!

Yeah, we disabled the touch controls for the web-build now. Sorry for that. :D

We'll try to implement more passages where splitting is necessary.
We also implemented your feedback for the icicles, they now break more easily when approaching them.
The explanation pop-up should now also only appear the first time. (Hopefully :D )

The gaps should now be mostly cleared up too!

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

This is hilarious :D
I love how this game plays with cliches. Mechanic is pretty simple and nothing new, but is polished well. Also seems to be balanced pretty good, i died twice but eventually made it.
Great game!

Strange game, but in a good way!
The mix of elements from other games is so fun and creative. The chore-mechanic is simple, but works great. Short and sweet. What more could you want :D

I love this so much!
i really enjoy puzzle games and this one is made really well. It starts easy and slowly teaches new elements. I didnt make it completely through, i got stuck in world 3 in the level where the enemies chase you. Might try again soon ^^
Overall its very polished and fun. I only had a few bugs with the sliding doors, the animation seems to glitch sometimes.
Oh and it would be great if you had some medals for newgrounds! People love those :D

so fun! love the atmosphere, the squishyness and the soundeffects. the first time i played i got stuck where theres only a small passage and then died. i didnt play the tutorial, cause i didnt even realize there was one. so that was kinda frustrating. i dont know if the ability to split into smaller mushrooms is even necessary for this game, the mechanic is so fun even without it.

overall, a very polished and pretty game, that definitely is worth playing several times :) (especially for the extra skins :D )

EnokiTheGame responds:

Thanks for the feedback!
You will be happy to hear that we just published a new version where the player gets asked if he wants to play the tutorial when starting for the first time. :D
Also we're working on the splitting!

great game! i scored 148 first try. love the music, soundeffects and the design. it would be nice to get some feedback if you click, like the fist squishing or something. and i didnt realize that theres a delay between simple clicks for white balls, and that made me lose a lot of health.
i love that theres this stick in the tutorial that stops the balls so you can take the time you need. theres a bit too much text though.
but overall, a really nice game :)
